Introducing Coach of the Month & Service Award Winner – Sanjana Satheesh!
We are excited to announce that Sanjana Satheesh has been selected as Coach of the Month and is the recipient of the Service Award for the month of August!
Each month our Art of Smart Team Leaders will be working with their teams to nominate 1 coach for the Coach of the Month Award. These Awards represent us wanting to live our values and express our gratitude for the awesome work that they do with their students.
The Service Award is given to someone who has provided exceptional service and support for their student(s) or for other coaches.
Sanjana received the Service Award in recognition of the outstanding effort that she has given in helping her one of her students succeed academically!
In order to improve her student’s problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure, Sanjana has been creating comprehensive practice quizzes for her weekly sessions in Maths and Science!
Each lesson, the student completes the quiz, which is based on topics she had just completed at school. They then spend the remainder of the lesson revising difficult topics. Complementary to this, Sanjana also been creating brief notes for her student to use for revision.
This has enabled Sanjana to not only track her student’s progress weekly, but also allowed her student to improve her exam time-management skills and motivation to improve.
As a result of Sanjana’s hard work, her student has been gradually improving her skills and self-confidence. The student is pleased with her progress, stating ‘I think the weekly quizzes have been very helpful to me. It has improved my understanding on the topics that I had problems with before and also improved my time-management. I feel much more confident going into an exam now’.
Similarly, the students’ parents are also very happy with their daughter’s progress stating ‘The weekly quizzes are a good way of knowing where exactly she’s at, and the tests are showing improvement in mathematics as she got a 25% in the first test, then a 43% and then 65% in the most recent one’.
