Introducing Coach of the Month & Service Award Winner – Harrison Yeung!
We are excited to announce that Harrison Yeung has been selected as Coach of the Month and is the recipient of the Service Award for the month of August!
Each month our Art of Smart Team Leaders will be working with their teams to nominate 1 coach for the Coach of the Month Award. These Awards represent us wanting to live our values and express our gratitude for the awesome work that they do with their students.
The Service Award is given to someone who has provided exceptional service and support for their student(s) or for other coaches.
Harrison received the Service Award in recognition of the outstanding effort that he has given in devising a survey which allows coaches to obtain feedback about their lessons!
The survey includes a range of questions which correspond to Art of Smart’s core values.
Harrison believes that ‘seeking constant feedback is key to the success of sessions as it is easy to be blindly thinking ‘I’m doing a sufficient job’. It also acts as an accessible platform for parents and students to share their thoughts about the sessions as giving them a hard copy sheet tends to result in a higher frequency of correspondence’.
Harrison very generously shared this survey with his fellow Art of Smart coaches and encouraged them to seek feedback and self-reflect on their progress as Academic Coaches/Mentors. Many coaches were very grateful, commenting:
